With extensive experience in the engineering consulting industry, Michael has worked across complex, high-profile environments, including projects with Scentre Group (Westfield), NDY and executive-level roles within Commonwealth Bank. At Advisen Consulting, he plays a key role in growing the business alongside a dedicated and close-knit team. Known for a practical, no-nonsense approach, Michael focuses on delivering solutions that work in the real world - while keeping things collaborative, grounded, and occasionally light-hearted.

Paul Nguyen

Role: Principal
Area of Expertise: Audio Visual, Security (SCEC), Electrical and Communications Engineer.

With extensive experience across Audio Visual, Security, Electrical and Communications engineering, Paul delivers strategic technology solutions that balance functionality, security and long-term adaptability. As an Australian Government SCEC Endorsed Security Consultant and Principal at Advisen Consulting, he works closely with clients to develop integrated environments that support operational efficiency and evolving workplace demands. Paul is recognised for his practical approach, technical leadership and ability to deliver innovative, scalable outcomes across commercial and government projects.

Neel Mistry

Role: Senior Associate
Area of Expertise: Electrical Engineering, Project & Design Management

A Chartered Electrical Engineer with close to two decades of experience across engineering consulting, utilities, infrastructure and building services. He has led engineering teams and worked in complex, high-profile environments, including delivering engineering outcomes across major portfolios during his tenure at Scentre Group. Neel brings a practical, delivery-focused approach and enjoys working closely with clients and project teams to solve challenges. He’s known for being proactive, approachable, and always willing to step in to assist. He thrives on complex problems, approaching them with positivity, dedication, and a focus on delivering coordinated, compliant, and buildable solutions.

Simon Spiro

Area of Expertise: Security and Administration

A security consultant with over a decade of experience across training, risk assessment and operations, Simon provides practical physical and technical security advice and has managed large-scale security teams and security operations centres. At Advisen Consulting, he also specialises in grant administration for security infrastructure programs, supporting organisations to navigate complex funding processes and deliver tailored, compliant solutions. His experience spans a broad range of sectors, including government, local councils, major developments, healthcare, education and religious places of worship.

Cayla Miller

Cayla is part of the administration and marketing team at Advisen Consulting. She supports grant administration operations and marketing initiatives. Cayla utilises her strong organisational skills and attention to detail, to help ensure processes run smoothly and deadlines are met. She works closely with the team to maintain clear communication and efficient workflows, contributing to a well-structured and productive environment.

Alex Organ-Caldwell
