The Pyrmont Community Centre upgrade for the City of Sydney revitalises a heritage-listed building into a modern, inclusive facility that supports a wide range of community activities.

The project carefully balances the preservation of the building’s historic character with the introduction of contemporary amenities, delivering flexible community rooms, a gymnasium, and multipurpose spaces designed to accommodate social, recreational, and wellbeing programs.

Advisen Consulting was engaged to deliver specialist Audio Visual (AV) design services for the project, supporting the transformation of the facility into a technology-enabled community hub.

Our scope included the design of AV systems for the community rooms and gymnasium, ensuring each space could support diverse uses such as group activities, presentations, and fitness programs.

The design focused on simplicity, flexibility, and ease of use, integrating seamlessly with the heritage constraints of the building while delivering a high-quality, future-ready AV solution for the City of Sydney.
